Exploring Maps and Globes is an educational game for the Apple II.
Contains 4 games designed to teach about reading and interpreting maps:* Home Sweet Home - Help the dragon Apple Blossom move into a new cave. The player must position her furniture by using the letters N,S,E,W, representing the 4 cardinal direction, by following on-screen directions.
- Symbol Safari - The player must scan left and right with their binoculars to find symbols representing animals or other jungle features.
- Beat the Baron - The player must challenge the computer on a series of 10 multiple choice questions related to maps and geography.
- Mapworks - Players can create their own maps by placing items on the screen.
