Exterminate

Exterminate is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

You have just inherited an abandoned cave from your long lost uncle Goobervincle. It seems like the cave has been infested by some rather large bugs. Since an exterminator is too expensive, you've decided to remove them yourself.

The player controls a small character who starts on the right side of a maze, while monsters stream from the left side of the maze. The player kills the bugs by stepping on them. If the bugs manage to escape the maze, then they will contact the government and have you arrested. The goal is to destroy as many bugs as possible before the game is over. There are 5 levels of difficulty from beginner to very hard. The player can choose the number of points or turns for victory, or can play an infinite game.
