Extreme Slots
Description
Extreme Slots is a single player, shareware slot machine game, it is named after the 'extreme sports' symbols that appear on the reels. It is also part of a three game compilation of the same name.
This is not a simulation of a slot machine game you'd find in a club or a casino, it was designed as a computer game. The machine emulates a traditional one arm bandit with a single payout reel. All payouts require three identical symbols, however there is a 'Magic Mover' symbol, effectively a wild symbol, which if it appears above or below a potential winning line will nudge its way onto the line so that the player wins. The game also has a bonus pool which increases with each spin the player makes, this is paid when the player hits the jackpot - three racing cars.
Other options tucked away in the menu bar are the save/load feature, statistics, options to change the colour of parts of the screen, the game's speed; borrow money from the bank etc. There is also a comprehensive manual that explains the controls.
