Fairy Biography II: Confidante is a casual single-player, mouse-controlled puzzle game.
The game's story talks of women who are using demon spirits from ancient scrolls to tempt people and cause world chaos. Something must be done and the world can be saved by solving 10 puzzles.
Each puzzle takes place on a single screen. The player controls the scroll guardian who throws a demon-refining pot—a sort of bouncing smoking bomb—at the demon to rebind it to the scroll. The mouse is used to aim and a single click sends the bouncing bomb on its way. Once launched, the bomb will bounce for quite a while before it either expires, comes back to kill the character that launched it, or hits its target.
There is no penalty for missing or dying but a single success solves the puzzle and unlocks an image in the game's album.
If any of the puzzles proves too difficult, there is an 'instant solve' button on each screen.
