Fairy Island

Fairy Island is a single player, free, tile matching, mouse controlled game.

The fairies island was a wonderful place until pirates arrived and imprisoned the fairies inside magic crystals, can you help them?

While there may not be a lot to the story there is quite a bit to this game. There are three game modes and four puzzle types however three of these puzzle types must be unlocked before they can be played. The game modes are;* Story Mode: Here our friendly fairy, Arianna, guides encourages us as we solve tile matching puzzles. The objective of each puzzle, whatever the type, is to clear all the tiles that have fairies trapped inside them. Each puzzle solved is a step along the road to the place where the pirates are holding their prisoners. Initially the player can only tackle normal puzzles but as they progress they unlock additional game types Locks, Shifter and Puzzle also as they progress the games become harder to complete within the time limit.
Occasionally the player is given a mini-game to win a Golden Acorn, a couple of which are awarded randomly in the early stages. These Golden Acorns are used as in-game currency in 'The Fairy Fare' to buy power-ups.

• Timed Mode: Here the player has five minutes game time in either the Normal; Locks; or Shifter puzzle types to score as highly as possible. Initially only the Normal game type is available, the others have to be unlocked by playing in Story mode. There is a separate scoreboard for each of the three game types. Continuous Mode: Here the player plays any of the three game types for as long as they can looking to achieve a high score. As with the Timed Mode only the Normal game type is available at the start of the game with the Locks and Shifter puzzle types being unlocked by playing in Story mode, again there is a separate scoreboard for each of the three game types.
