Oh, no! A nuclear war has erupted and turned the world into a wasteland! Not to worry, Vault-Tec has you covered, literally. Welcome to your new home, a state-of-the-art Vault-Tec vault! And, congratulations are in order, as you've been elected the new Overseer!

Fallout Shelter is a managerial game set in the Fallout universe. You, as the Overseer of your vault, start with a vault entrance, elevator and a living quarters. You must build on things like a water treatment plant for water, a generator room for electricity, a dining area for food and, as needed, storage areas, more living quarters, labs, etc. As you play the game, you can send a vault-dweller out to explore the wasteland, assign new dwellers to areas and re-assign dwellers to other areas. As you play, you will complete tasks that will earn you caps and lunchboxes. The lunchboxes may contain caps, armor, weapons, etc. You must keep your vault dwellers happy, fed, and safe.
