Fate Tectonics
Description
Fate Tectonics is a mix of strategy god game, like Populous and a board game with some elements of mechanics of games like Carcassonne. A player develops a world from random terrain blocks, provided by the gods. The next gods are unlocked by progressing in the game. There are blocks with different properties (normal farmland, forest, waters, mountains ...) and the player must match the edges of them to maintain stability. Over time, new abilities from the gods are gained, like building a city, making a fleet ... and large parts of the world can be destroyed on a whim.
Fate Tectonics has two main modes: calm world building provided by the god Serenity or cycles of creation and destruction under the goddesses Ragnarosa and Fortuna. A tutorial and custom mode are also included.
