Federation

Federation is a 1-player side-scrolling arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls a small spaceship flying over a barren alien landscape tasked with destroying enemy drones and cities. The ship is armed with a laser cannon which fires horizontally to defeat alien vessels, and can drop bombs to destroy alien cities. The game scrolls a limited distance left and right before the player is forced to reverse direction, and the goal is to destroy all cities on each level. The player's vessel can move vertically up and down, but can also move horizontally to reverse direction. There are 5 different skill levels, and the player has 3 ships. When all are lost, it's game over
