Felix and the Fruit Monsters

Felix and the Fruit Monsters is a 1-player arcade game for multiple systems.

Felix needs to protect the fruit from four hungry monsters who move randomly through the maze. Felix can pick up and drop a single piece of fruit at a time to keep it away from the monsters. He can also pick up and drop ether which temporarily stuns the creatures.

Four power pellets in the corners of the screen replenish Felix's power. The magnetic pad at the center of the screen takes all four monsters back to the starting area, and this can be used three times per game. If a green monster eats fruit it turns yellow and becomes faster. A yellow monster can eat more fruit and become red, moving extremely fast. The goal is to run down the timer while at least one piece of fruit remains. Faster moving monsters persist to the next level, increasing the challenge.

Each level has progressively one more piece of fruit and, starting on level 2, fruit moves around the maze by itself. It is game over if all fruit is eaten or the player is touched by a monster.
