Fester Mudd: Curse of the Gold - Episode 1

This is the first episode in what was meant to be a three-part series called Fester Mudd: Curse of the Gold. Following the release of the first installment the other two were eventually cancelled. It is a graphical adventure that uses a visual style and mechanics of classics adventure games of the 1990s. The large top part shows the game environment, while a smaller bottom part has verb words and an inventory.

The game has a Western theme and is about Fester who goes on the road to reach his brother Bud in Loamsmouth town. But discovering the disappearance of his brother, he is aware of having to face a long and difficult search, and we will have to seek the assistance of a gunslinger as crossing the territory of the Indians without a weapon can be extremely dangerous. Unfortunately for Fester, the gunmen are not cheap and the protagonist must also find a way to raise enough gold to hire someone.
