FIFA Soccer 09

This version of FIFA Soccer 09 features four different game modes:

• Friendly: select any pair of teams for a match. This mode can be player by one or two players (head-to-head).
• Challenge: a series of 10 pre-set matches in which the player must achieve a specific result (such as winning by a given score, for instance).
• Season: the player competes in an entire season of one of the 11 leagues available.
• Tournament: there are 10 different tournaments for the player to compete.

The game features 3D models that can be controlled in all four directions. The available actions are shoot, pass, long pass, volley and tackle. Each player has his own statistics and a stamina bar which will be depleted if he keeps running. Players can also be changed during gameplay, as well as their functions (captain, for instance). There are 8 different stadiums, 5 different field conditions and 3 camera angles. Other available settings are match duration, difficulty and turning on/off lesions, cards, off-side, overtime and commentary.
