Fill 'Er Up

Fill 'Er Up is a variant of the Taito arcade game Qix. You control a cursor that can move around the outside of a 2D rectangular reservoir. In the centre is an angry starfish that moves randomly. You can make forays into the middle of the reservoir, leaving a path behind you. Once you return to the perimeter, the area formed by your path that does not contain the starfish gets filled with water. The path then becomes part of the reservoir wall. If the starfish touches you, or the path as you are making it, you will lose a life. Otherwise, once you have filled in a sufficient percentage of the reservoir, you move on to the next arena where the starfish is angrier, and you need to fill in a greater percentage of the total area.
