Formula I Racer

Formula I Racer is a Formula I racing simulator for the Apple II.

The player controls a Formula I car, with the goal of maximizing distance traveled in 60 seconds. Played from a perspective behind the vehicle, the player must carefully navigate turns, and not strike signs and other obstructions on the side of the road. There are no opponent vehicles. Three levels of difficulty, including: Practice, Intermediate, and Expert. On higher difficulty levels, turns become more difficult to navigate, as the player is more likely to spin out if going too fast. Points are awarded based upon difficulty and distance traveled.
