Fortix 2
Description
Fortix 2 is an action puzzle game inspired by Qix. The story takes place three years after you defeated your arch enemy Xitrof in the first game. Now Xitrof has escaped and brought chaos to the nearby island of Artalom. You have no choice but to go and fight Xitrof again.
You play as sir Fortix, a knight, and your goal is to capture the castles of the 30 shires that together constitute the island, while avoiding the defenses Xitrof set up: towers that shoot cannonballs at you, walls and gates that need keys to be opened, dragons, ogres, blood bats, etc. Various bonuses appear randomly on the screen during the game and need to be captured to be activated.
You draw a line when moving into unclaimed territory. You capture new territory once you create a closed shape with that line, but you are also vulnerable to attacks as soon as you leave your baseline. Holding the CTRL key while moving makes you run.
