Freecell3D

Description

Freecell3D is a 3D shareware version of, as the name suggests, the classic single player Solitaire card game Freecell. The game earns it's 3D title by giving the player the ability to either select one of two pre-set views or zoom and rotate the play area to suit themselves.

Gameplay is standard for games of this type, cards are dealt onto the playing area and are dragged and dropped into position using the mouse. There is just the one version of the game with no options to customise the basic rules.

The game has a save game feature, a Check feature which lets the player know if the game is solvable, a suggest the next move feature, together with undo, reset and game statistics. Other features which are less commonly found are:* A move history. This lists all the moves a player made in their attempt to solve the game. By clicking on a particular move the game will automatically undo all moves back to that point so that the player can replay from that point.

  • A Race feature. Here the player attempts to solve a game faster than the computer, the computers playing & thinking time can be varied to alter the difficulty level.
