Funny Mouse

Funny Mouse is a 2d arcade platform chase game that uses many of the same graphics and sounds used in Techstar's Macho Mouse although with quite different game-play. In this game, you play as a mouse who is trying to collect food that is scattered around the level and bring it back to their larder.

As you are collecting food, cobras and cats spawn at regular intervals and will chase you up and down the ladders. You can kill these by luring them into one of three different types of trap. Firstly there are two non-rechargable rock traps located in the top corners'of the screen. Triggering these will cause the rock to fall, crushing enemies in its path. Secondly, there are a series of interconnected trapdoors which will all open at once after you have walked over one of them. Enemies traversing the traps at this time will fall to their doom. Finally, as in Macho Mouse, you can press a button to drop a balloon and a second time to pop it. A popped balloon will produce dangerous vibrations in the air for a few seconds, killing everything it touches, including you if you are not careful. You have a total of five balloons available per level.

In another similarity to Macho Mouse, there is the same slot-machine bonus stage between levels. This gives you bonus points if you are lucky enough to spin the right combination of symbols. Subsequent levels loop through four different maze configurations in original arcade version, but there is only one for the Sord M5 port.
