Galactic Empire
Description
Galactic Empire is a 1–4 player space-themed commodities trading game for the BBC Micro.
Over thousands of years, a vast empire grew until it filled the entire galaxy. This mighty empire is ruled by the much feared Council of Warlords. The warlords gain their power by controlling the few planets to contain rare energy minerals. To increase their power, the warlords constantly send their fleets of spaceships into battle. There is only one way to end the wars and secure a lasting peace. One warlord must defeat all the others and become emperor.
Each individual planet can create special weapons which can be used on enemy targets. The player can create coalitions with other systems. Individual planets have population size, growth rate, production dedication, and number of vessels stationed there. Planets are given ship construction commands, and vessels can be sent to attack enemy systems.
