Galaxy Splitter

Galaxy Splitter is a top-down shooter. In each level, the player will move to avoid shots and collect loot and powerups. The player shoots automatically, and can shoot enemies. The player's ship has both shields and hull: the shield will regenerate over time, and will protect the player from a few shots; the hull requires repair between missions, and will protect the player from more shots. The player also has a super weapon to destroy all enemies on screen.

By completing levels and secondary objects, the player will earn money. Between levels, the player can repair their ship, buy and install new weapons, and buy new ships. They can select new missions; by completing enough missions, the player can free a planet, which will earn the player money over time. New planets can be traveled to; later planets have more difficult enemies.
