Game & Watch Wide Screen: Manhole

Game & Watch Wide Screen: Manhole is the third game in the fifth series of Game & Watch games published by Nintendo, also known as the (New) Wide Screen Series, consisting of 8 titles. More colorful and child-friendly, the models from the New Wide Screen series (still described as Wide Screen on the boxes) aren't much different from the previous line of G&W games, save for a cheaper price and a different shell design. Unpublished in Japan.

Manhole is essentially an upgraded version of the Game & Watch Gold: Manhole with enhanced graphics. The core of the game with his gameplay hasn't changed significantally, despite the purely graphical facelift. The screen is wider, the characters show more details and each fall leads to a new animation. The alarm woman ring from the Gold version has been replaced by a younger lady.
