Game Basic for SegaSaturn

Description

Game Basic for SegaSaturn is a game development and programming kit which uses a version of the BASIC programming language. It supports keyboard input directly, includes various tools such as a paint tool and a music sequencer, and is packaged with a communication cable and PC software for transferring programs to and from a Windows PC for easier development. Various premade sample graphical and sound assets are also included, notably including a selection of music tracks from Game Arts games.

There are a total of 43 sample programs included on the disc; while many of these are tools or simple demos, there are also 12 sample games of varying complexity. Sample games include a first-person 3D maze game, a 3D jetpack flight game, and even a complete conversion of the 1984 MSX game Theseus.
