Gandalf
Description
Gandalf is a text-based dialogue game powered by the GPT-4 AI model. The player's aim is to coerce the AI, embodied as the character Gandalf, to disclose the secret password for each level. As the player successfully uncovers each password, Gandalf 'levels up', becoming more resistant to revealing the succeeding password. The ultimate challenge is to break through the seventh level, with a bonus eighth level available for the most skilled negotiators.
The game was developed by the AI security company Lakera, to draw attention to the problem of "prompt injection" attacks, which allow clever users to coerce an AI into doing undesirable things.
