Gantelet II

Gantelet II is a 1 - 4 player Gauntlet clone, and sequel to the original Gantelet for the TRS-80 CoCo.

Each player chooses from 1 of the 4 classes Wizard, Warrior, Valkyrie, and Elf. Each can move in 8 directions, and shoot some sort of ranged attack. The player must navigate mazes fighting enemies. Players' health constantly falls, and must be replenished by gathering food. Keys are collected to unlock doors, and the goal of each level is to reach the exit square. Certain terrain can be shot, and treasure can be gathered for bonus points. Enemies spawn from specific points, which can be destroyed. With a speech pack installed, the game will narrate character actions. The game is over when all characters have lost their health.
