Gate 88
Description
Gate 88 is a real-time strategy game with a twist -- you are in direct control of an individual unit, and can only construct additional structures and units within the sphere of influence of the unit you control. The game is designed for multiplayer, but a single player mode is also included.
The game takes place in space, with rival players building bases and launching attacks of fighters to attack others and gain money. It uses a 2D perspective and controls for construction and orders are done with pie menus (a la The Sims) for faster game play.
