Gem Rush

Gem Rush is a color-matching game similar in general lines to Puyo Puyo and Bust-a-Move. Vertical pairs of jewels drop from above, and the player must combine them with the mass of gems at the bottom in order to obtain groups of three or more gems. This will remove them from the playing area. Technically, the entire gameplay consists of choosing on what column to place the new pair. The only power-up is the TNT which can destroy all gems of the chosen color. However, after executing several combos in a row the game enters a kind of frenzy mode where every successful combination does massive area damage, destroying many gems around it. Since every round is limited to 60 seconds, the only goal in Gem Rush is to reach a higher score.

Every round costs one heart out of five the player starts the game with. The hearts regenerate automatically with time, but they can also be acquired with Facebook credits.
