Ghajini: The Game

Game cover: Ghajini: The Game

Description

Ghajini: The Game is a third-person action game with stealth elements. It is based on the Indian movie Ghajini which is a remake of a Tamil movie that's inspired by Christopher Nolan's Memento. It is said to be India's first true 3D game.

In this game players take the role of Sanjay who is suffering from a constant memory loss but wants to avenge his girlfriend's death by killing Ghajini, the man responsible for it. The story is unveiled through comic book style cutscenes similar to Max Payne.

The game consists of 5 levels:* The first level is Sanjay's flat where he needs to find and pick up certain objects before he can leave.

  • The second level is a stealth level where Sanjay must get into a building and collect certain objects without getting caught.
  • The third level is a construction site where Sanjay goes to find two goons he has to kill. In this level Sanjay is able to fight using his fists as well as blunt weapons.
  • The fourth level has Sanjay following a man who saw him kill the two goons in order to find Ghajini and ends with Sanjay defeating that man but not getting the answers he wanted.
  • The fifth and final level takes place in a seemingly abandoned factory where Sanjay must find and kill whom he believes to be Ghajini.

The game loosely sticks to the storyline of the movie and ends on a cliffhanger, suggesting that there were several installments planned. Those were never released.
