Ghoul Castle 3D

Ghoul Castle 3D is a 1st person dungeon crawler with real-time combat and full 3D. The game puts the player into a dark fantasy atmosphere. The player takes on the role of an unknown knight invading an evil castle full of vampires, ghouls, hell dogs, etc. All events take place in the castle halls, sometimes cellars or courtyards. The player barely ventures outside, and the interiors are mazes in a style typical to dungeon crawlers.

The player controls the character from the 1st-person perspective, and utilizes primarily melee attacks. There is a normal attack, power slash, and a block. The right move must be executed a right moment to rush onto an enemy for a deadly strike. All combat encounters are in real time, and the controls are fully in 3D without any limitations.

The game is relatively small, it can be finished in about three hours depending on the player's skill. It features many traditional dungeon crawler attributes such as a gloomy atmosphere, scary monsters, labyrinths, a map and mini-map, items and power-ups that enhance the player's equipment. There are total of nine levels, with unique bosses at the end of each. The final boss appears to be the Dark Duke possessed by unknown evil force, once he's defeated a sun rises above the castle, and there are no more ghouls around.
