Gold Miner: Special Edition

Gold Miner: Special Edition is an updated version of the original Gold Miner with new levels, and enhanced graphics and animation. Like in Gold Miner the player controls a character in the center of the screen. He holds a claw that moves from left to right and vice versa automatically. By clicking you extend the claw, grabbing an item when there is one in the chosen direction. There are small pieces of gold and larger ones, along with other items. Larger items take longer to haul in. There are also worthless rock that can be picked up, but these only eat up time. When a sufficient amount of money has been earned before time runs out, you advance to the next level. There are shops after every level to buy helpful items, and slot machines to place a bet. These appear after every four levels if the player collected coins in the previous levels. Level always take place on a single screen and the only interaction is extending the claw.

There are also other game modes, such as a no limits mode where the player should not worry about the money, he can play as long as he wants. There is also an action mode where slot machines do not appear and the player needs to catch the gold and other item by press the left and right arrow keys to pull the claw up.
