Gold Runner

Gold Runner is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player controls a small character who can move laterally, climb ladders, and dig small holes in the ground to trap enemies. The character must collect gold from a series of platforms, and take them to the top-most ladder to advance to the next level. Enemy characters relentlessly pursue the player, and take their life if they catch them. Enemies will also pick up gold, and the player must retrieve it by dropping the enemy into a hole. Enemies can only exit and enter ladders from the top or the bottom, while a player can exit or enter a ladder at any point. The player starts with 5 lives.
