Golf Patience

Golf Patience is a shareware solitaire card game from AG Crump Software. It was released independently as a ‘taster’ game for their Solitaire Gold Pack, anyone registering Golf Patience received the full solitaire suite in return.

Golf Patience aka Golf Solitaire is a classic solitaire game which the player has around a 26% chance of winning. The game is uses card number/rank only – suits are unimportant. It starts with thirty cards dealt face up, six rows of five cards. The player then turns the cards from the pile of remaining cards over one at a time. These cards are used to match to the face-up cards and hopefully clear runs of cards in one go.
Card matching is best explained by example; so if a ten is turned over from the card stack it would match to either a nine or a jack on the rows of turned cards. If the player matches to a jack then they can either match that to another ten or to a queen among the face up cards. This process is repeated until there are no more cards that match.
