Gorgon

Gorgon is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

Jason the Argonaut is on his treacherous mission to rescue the beautiful Golden Fleece. Be alert to the ruthless assaults of Medusa the Gorgon. The player moves Jason around the screen, and can use his shield for protection while moving. The Golden Fleece moves randomly about, and the player must avoid running into boulders. When the player presses the joystick button, Medusa appears, and the exit staircase appears. The player has to then grab the Golden Fleece and escape up the stairs without being hit by Medusa. The player starts with 5 lives, and it's game over when all are lost.
