Grelox

Galactic crime boss, Lady Mandrill, has been tunnelling into the planet Aeon, in search of something ancient and dangerous. Take control of famed galactic troubleshooter Grelox, who has been contracted to journey to the planet and stop her.

This is the first game in the Grelox series and it is a flip-screen platform game, with puzzle-solving elements, inspired by the Master System title Zillion. The goal of each level is to collect the 2 passcards (one red and one blue) and get to the central terminal to complete the level. To leave each room, you must time jumps, avoid traps, and 'hack' the three terminals which will unlock the door to the next room. Hacking is determined by pressing up on the terminal and waiting for a timer to countdown. Aborting mid-hack will reset the timer. Grelox has only two action buttons: jump and a short-range melee weapon Some enemies are impervious to attacks.

There are 3 difficulty levels, which correspond to the amount of energy you start with. There are no lives and you will respawn where you died. The game was made using Game Maker and mimics the colour palette of the Master System.
