Grim Tales: The Wishes

Grim Tales: The Wishes is a hidden object game. Brandon makes a wish with a witch to make his toy come alive, but the cost is higher than he expected. The player is his aunt, called in by his mother to find out what's wrong with her son. The player arrives just in time to see Brandon taken away into the forest. Then his mother also leaves to make a wish with the same witch. The player needs to follow them, undo the damage done, and save their sister and nephew.

The game uses the standard hidden object formula. In hidden object scenes, the player will be given a list of objects to find, some of which require taking actions inside the scene to reveal the object. Between hidden object scenes, the game is an adventure game, where the player will need to use various inventory items to open new areas, find useful items, and solve puzzles. Puzzles include sending a bee across every space in a hexagonal board, and assembling a stained-glass inlay from pieces.
