Gwen's Getaway

Gwen, a top furniture designer, needs to leave her job due to a scandal in company. She reminisces her childhood and ends up going to the cabin she used to spend the summers with her family. The cabin is in poor condition, so she starts to use her skills to renovate the cabin, as well as helping her friends in need.

Gwen's Getaway is a narrative and decoration oriented match-3 game with relaxing aesthetics. In match-3, player taps groups of blocks to collect them from the playing field. Matching big enough group of blocks creates power-ups, like rocket, firefly jars and magnets, which can fasten the block collecting by impacting a bigger number of blocks at a time. Matching adjacent to non-interactable special blocks allows player to collect them or activate special blocks' gameplay impacting effects. Playing the match-3 gives stars which can be used in the meta to decorate the houses and advance the story, supposedly revealing the mystery of the incident in Gwen's company.
