Halloween Hide & Seek

Serving as HomestarRunner.com's 2021 Halloween special, Halloween Hide & Seek is a short retro adventure game released on itch.io. In it, Homestar Runner must find the rest of the gang so he can comically comment on their costumes. Keeping with the game's theming, the costumes are all based on classic adventure games from publishers such as Sierra and LucasArts. Using an old-school point-and-click interface, the player attempts to find the hiding characters by interacting in familiar Homestar Runner settings. After all the characters are found, everyone gathers together to banter about each other's costumes.
