Hangman The Wild West II: Billy's Adventure is a single player version of the classic spelling game.
There's a story behind this game. Billy traveled around the wild west, he wanted to be a hero so he sought and beat all the outlaw that he could find. Then, one day, he entered a saloon which played a strange game, a game that only real men dared play. The object of the game was to shoot all the bottles in the bar with a limited number of bullets. Billy had to enter, he was good and he won lots of money. News of Billy's prowess spread and bandits made there way to the saloon, some wanted to beat Billy because he was good, others just wanted his money.
The game itself is a standard game of hangman. When the player selects a letter it is either in the hidden word or it is not, if it is in the word a bottle on the bar is broken, if it is not then one of Billy's bullets is used up. When the word is solved Billy/the player earns some money.
It's a mission based game. In the first mission a bandit has kidnapped Billy's girlfriend and he must earn $1200 before defeating the baddie to get her back. While playing other bandits will occasionally attack Billy and when defeated they drop gold coins which can be used to buy special items, this is an optional part of the game and if it is disabled gold coins are awarded after words have been guessed.
The game has original wild west music, a high score table, and plays in six languages
