Heathkit GD-1380

Heathkit GD-1380 is a dedicated console playing 4 Pong variants and two target shooting games. It uses the common AY-3-8500 dedicated pong chip. The console was sold as a kit for manual assembly. It hooks up directly to the television set's electronics and contains a manual detailing the process for various television kits sold by the same company. The games are Tennis, Squash, Hockey, Practice, Target 1 and 2. The Pong games are played with controllers with a lever, the target shooting game uses a light gun. Unlike most dedicated Pong consoles audio is played on the TV rather than a speaker on the device and it even has a volume control.
