High Risers

High Risers is a vertically oriented auto-run platformer where a character needs to climb an endless skyscraper. The player's character runs by itself and the player only interacts by tapping to jump and climb a floor. As most of the game takes place in a screen that only scrolls vertically, walls are used to reverse direction. The player needs to anticipate this by running in the right direction and only jumping when there is a wall up ahead. Otherwise the character falls down and the game is over. Next to walls there are also hazard and construction workers that move around creating temporary walls. Every now and then a new section is reached and then the game is turned into a 2D horizontally scrolling platformer where jumping needs to be timed until the next part of the skyscraper is reached.

Along the way coins can be gathered stored across sessions. They are used to unlock new characters and environments, and use continues. They can also be earned by watching video ads. There is also an option to start at a higher location of the level right away. The game is free-to-play and many characters and environments can only be unlocked through in-app purchases.
