Highway Trap

Highway Trap is a 1-player arcade game for the Apple II.

Played from a top-down perspective, the player controls a car on the road doing combat with other vehicles. The car can move in all directions, but must stay on the road. It can fire out its left and right window, and the goal is to destroy all enemy vehicles and pedestrians on the screen. Enemy vehicles will travel off one end of the road, and appear again on the other side. In early stages vehicles on the road fire on the opposite side of the highway, and in later stages pedestrians appear to fire upon the highway. The player has 3 lives, and when all are lost, it's game over.
