Holster

Holster is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a cowboy that moves vertically at the left of the screen. The screen starts with cactuses which can be shot and destroyed, as well as snakes that move towards the player. The snakes move vertically until they hit an object, and then move one row closer to the player, and change direction.

If a snake is shot, a new one appears randomly on the screen. Eggs that can not be destroyed appear in the game as snakes are eradicated. The player gains points for every snake killed, and loses a life if hit by a snake. The player starts with three lives.
