Horse Racing Classic

Horse Racing Classic is a horse racing and betting simulator for the Apple II.

1 - 9 players can bet on a total of 100 horses in a track race, with a total of 4 - 9 races in each series. At the beginning of the game, the player must set the date up until 1999. The 100 horses have different stats, and 7 horses are randomly chosen for each race. This provides odds for the horses, and the player can bid on the winning horse, place, and show. The player then watches the horses graphically run the track, and their final positions are calculated. The player collects or loses funds based upon their bidding. The player starts with a set amount of cash, and must bid on each of the 4 - 9 races, with the goal of maximizing profit.
