Hourglass of Summer
Description
With summer vacation just around the corner, Kotaro Makimura commits himself to asking out his classmate and crush, the kind and beautiful Kaho Serizawa. However, Kotaro wakes up the next day to find that he has somehow jumped forward in time to September 1st, the end of summer vacation. Confused as he heads to school, Kotaro finds his classmates in an atmosphere of mourning and is told a horrible truth. Apparently, he and Kaho became lovers over the course of the summer until Kaho died in an accident on August 31st. Using his newfound ability to travel in time, Kotaro ventures into the past again and again, vowing to prevent Kaho's terrible fate.
Hourglass of Summer is a visual novel adventure game that plays like most visual novels: the player reads the text on screen atop illustrated backgrounds and periodically makes a choice that influences the development of the story. It features full voice acting for all significant characters.
The PC version has a different cast and includes scenes with sexual content.
