Hyaku no Sekai no Monogatari: The Tales on a Watery Wilderness

Hyaku no Sekai no Monogatari: The Tales on a Watery Wilderness is a competitive board game role playing game.

Gameplay consists of maneuvering around a randomly generated board along with up to 3 other players (either human or PC), fighting monsters in a Dragon Quest-esque fight system, visiting towns, completing side quests all in a race to be the first to complete the "main quest". There are three modes to chose from: "Dragon Buster", "Treasure" and "Princess". While the details vary a bit, the overall game plays very similarly in all three types. When you choose your game type, you also choose how long of a game you want to play. Once the turns are over, the game ends, regardless of whether or not the main quest is completed. Whoever has the most points wins.

You can join other players and work together, or battle against them, including joining already in progress battles to attack either side. There is a range of basic equipment and spells to buy.
