iOOTP Baseball 2014 is the 2014 entry in the Out of the Park baseball management series of games, with a focus on the complete management of a team. The game is rife with stats and numbers to delve into the inner workings. You control a professional baseball team from a strictly managerial standpoint, determining batting order, pitching substitutions, and field positioning. Off the field decisions, such as who to sign, who to release to free agency, are also available for you to fine-tune your team.

This edition features a player editor, which allows you to customize almost every aspect of every single player in the game, which will adjust that player's rating accordingly. Players progress realistically. Injuries will occur, with a random time on the injured list set, depending on the injury. Players will age and eventually retire. You can play through a standard, 162 game season of baseball, play in an entirely fictional league, or play historical games.
