Igneous

Igneous is a very fast action platformer where the player controls a tiki totem that tries to escape from an erupting volcano. More akin to a racing game than a traditional platformer, the player is able to steer the rolling totem left or right a very high speeds and it can also jump to avoid obstacles. There are four levels in total and they consists of dense obstacle courses with lava rocks, collapsing bridges and boulders and constant blockades the totem can knock around.

To progress, the game needs to be played at a high speed to gain sufficient acceleration to bridge the gaps. Obstacles slow down the totem but it can only be killed when it drops into the lava below. In the fourth and final level a furious idol needs to be approached and the fire beams it shoots can kill off the totem as well. There is an unlimited amount of continues, two difficulty levels and the option to select all available levels right away.
