Imaginaria

Imaginaria is a visual novel/point and click/walking simulation hybrid, with low res pixel art style. The game story is based on one of its developers' real experiences living in an Antarctic station for 15 months, so it has also been described as a "visual documentary."

The term Imaginaria describes both a night watch and the night watcher. You play as the one in charge of Imaginaria duty on a single night, in a godforsaken Antarctic station, with many areas to explore. Each area explored and item clicked brings out a short text which reflects on what's it like to live in the base, giving information in the process. There's also some character interactions with another non-playable character. The objective of the game is to make the Imaginaria round, checking that all buildings in the station are not in danger or on fire.
