Description
In Search of Dr. Livingston is a text adventure game for multiple systems.
Dr. Livingston is again in the darkest Africa, but no message has been received from him for a great while. His rescue has consumed your thoughts for many weeks. You have gathered books and and maps of the area where he was last seen. Determined to make a rescue attempt, but exhausted from research, you drift off to sleep and dream of your adventure.
Your goal is ultimately to locate and rescue Dr. Livingston, but during the adventure you can locate a number of treasures, and must bring them back to your starting bedroom for a total of 215 points. All commands are via VERB NOUN entry, and the player has a limited inventory. A few animated sequences are interspersed throughout the adventure. Some locations and items are randomized through the adventure.
