Inspector Clueseau
Description
Inspector Clueseau is a puzzle game for the TRS-80 CoCo.
Mr. Goodbody has been murdered and you must solve the mystery. You must discover who committed the murder, the weapon used, and in what room the crime occurred. There are six suspects, eight possible weapons, and nine rooms in the mansion.
The player has 75 game turns to solve the mystery. Each turn will randomly place the player in a room of the mansion with one randomly selected suspect. Each turn, the player can question a suspect, search for a secret passage or make an accusation. One suspect always lies, and one suspect lies some of the time. If the player finds the secret passage, they try to solve a 4 letter code with 10 turns to solve the mystery to receive a clue. When the player thinks they have solved the crime, they must state the weapon, location, and murderer, and if correct, they win the game.
