International Cricket Captain 2006
Description
International Cricket Captain 2006 is one of a series of cricketing games from Childish Things that traces its roots back to International Cricket Captain which was first released in 1998.
In single player mode the player can:* Take control of an English county team, manage them and earn the right to captain the national team
- Captain both a county team and the English team from the start
- Play as a national team manager
- Play in past test series
In two player mode each player selects an international team, one plays using the keyboard and one player uses the mouse.
When bowling the player can adjust the way the ball is delivered, the strength and length of the delivery, which side of the wicket the bowler bowls from, and which stump the bowler aims for. When batting the player can adjust the degree of aggression the batsman uses.
During an innings the player can optionally view animations of the action and here there are settings that allow the player to view every delivery or just specific events.
