Into The Core
Description
Into The Core is a freeware, single player, 3D, platform/puzzle game.
This game sees the player control blue 'crash test dummy' like figure in a virtual world where they are looking for someone called Mel. The object of each level is to find and jump on/in to a glowing yellow triangle, the puzzle element is that the aforementioned triangle becomes progressively harder and harder to reach. However, in this game gravity is variable - not in its strength but in its direction. Run up some stairs towards a wall and suddenly the wall you're running into becomes the floor. Run and jump into a red wall and that becomes the ceiling so the player slowly falls onto the opposite wall which becomes a floor. If there are no gravity changing walls to jump onto then there's always the 'gravity bow' which the player can fire into a wall afte which gravity will pull them in that direction
The game uses the W/A/S/D keys to move around, SPACE to jump, the mouse to look around and a mouse button to fire the gravity bow. It auto-saves once a puzzle/level is completed.
