Jack the Ripper III
Description
Jack the Ripper III is the tenth and final Softside Magazine's Adventures of the Month, and the sequel to Jack the Ripper II, published for multiple systems.
It has been 100 years since your grandfather caught Jack the Ripper, only to have the killer plunge to his presumed death from London Bridge. It has been 25 years since the original Jack the Ripper truly plunged to his death on a hill beside the Thames, chased by you and London's police force. Now, 25 years later, it is time for your retirement, but Jack's daughter Jill is out for revenge. Your former commissioner Snobish has been badly injured, and you must stop Jill before she completes her revenge.
The player must explore the streets of modern London, gathering clues to Jill's plot. A day and night cycle allows different events to occur through the day.
All commands are via 2-word VERB NOUN entries, and game play contains several object puzzles. There is no save and restore feature.
